Williams, 1949

A few weeks ago at the local Bennigan's restaurant, I noticed a pinball machine hanging on the wall, with blinking lights in place of the bumpers.  After closer inspection, I realized this was an original pinball machine playfield inside a not original cabinet.  I went back that afternoon with my camera and the manager allowed me to take some pics.  Thanks to pinball historian, Russ Jensen for identifying what playfield this game originally belonged to.  Russ took some pics of Boston's backglass and playfield which can be viewed here, at the Internet Pinball Database.

Stylish hangin' there

I guessed the playfield was original judging from the heavy wear and dirt.

Some of the bulbs were burned out, but still kinda neat.

The flash brings out a little too much dirt.  Notice the production number on the lower left side of the playfield.

Those flashing lights really do look cool.

Side view.  At first I thought this was the original cabinet, but this is an older style, maybe early 30's.
